Snacks
- Fudge Barr, Combo package
It’s like an egg yolk pie but a perfect version of a cream-filled pie. The filling and cake are wonderfully dense! Inside, there’s vanilla, chocolate, and macapuno.Absolutely love it. The caramel sea salt flavor is perfectly sweet and salty. I almost devoured ten bars in one go.

Personal ranking: Caramel Sea Salt > Chocolate > Vanilla > Durian =Macapuno
- Crossini, Soft Bread Roll w/ Bavarian Cream
It saved my daily brekky in the Philippines, with the stuffing incorporated into the center of the bread.

- Whoopie, Mallow Cake
Top notch, It’s delicious. The top layer is a crunchy chocolate shell, the middle layer is marshmallow, and the bottom layer is a soft cake.

- Cheeze
The liquid cheese has very little of that stinky sock smell; it’s more like a milk spread without sugar. It’s highly acceptable and very tasty, pairing well with toast and crackers.

- Nissin, Seafoodcup noodles
A light seafood broth, like it .

Drinks
Alaska, StrawberryYogurt Drinks
The strawberry yogurt drink is very smooth, not too sweet or sour.

DUTCH MILk, Yogurt Drink with StrawberryJuice草莓優酪乳 👍
Daily Use
So far, I’ve only tried the famous brands Silka and Kojie San. I’m still considering other options, but here they sell coreless toilet paper, which is at least twice as cheap as the regular box tissues.
- Silka, PAPAYA SOAP
After washing my face, it doesn’t feel tight and has a subtle fragrance. Truly worthy of being called a national brand of the Philippines.

Use
Ube is purple yam. It is a common flavor in Filipino desserts and also serves as a great edible dye.
I like purple, so I noticed the ubiquity of Ube desserts and decided to create a special feature on them.
- Lava Cake Ube Con Quezo Flavor
The first time I tried it, I thought it was just okay—pretty standard. But after refrigerating it, I found it much better. The second time I had it, the flavors really stood out. It’s a good representation of a Filipino dessert, with the aroma of ube, the saltiness of cheese, and the sweetness of condensed milk..

- One one, rice cracker

- Oishi, Pillow Ube

- Binggrae, Melona UbeFlavor
It’s very tasty. This is a Korean brand, but they’ve adapted to local tastes with a unique purple yam flavor.

- Sid’s, Ube Cheese Pandeda

- Street food, Ube Mochi

- Twisted R, Ice Cream

Jollibee
A local Filipino fast-food chain, its mascot might fall into the uncanny valley, but that doesn’t affect the Filipinos’ love for it.
- Jolly Spaghetti
It’s sweet. Local recommendation, but I find it just okay. The mini hot dog seems to be a soul of it.
- CokeFloat Zero/Regular
It is cute and has a nostalgic taste. Adding a bit of ice cream and blending it creates a new drink.
- Tuna Pie
Must try! Just right portion and calorie.

- Peach Mango Pie
Must try! Just right portion and calorie. I like its mango taste.

- 2 pc. Chickenjoy
Gravy with rice is great. The chicken is not dry, and the coating has a slight creamy smell and is a bit moist. The original coating is thin, while the spicy coating is thicker.
- 6 p.c. ChickenNuggets
Mcnuggets, please must be with BBQ sauce which were chosen for me by the staff. It’s probably the most popular flavor. I trust Filipinos’ choice of sauces since they are a people who love their sauces and rice.

- Palabok

Chowking
- Fried Rice w/ Fried Chicken
The food is absolutely delicious. The fried chicken skin is super crispy, and the meat is tender, far surpassing Jollibee. There are shrimp crackers served as a side dish with the meat, which you must try—it’s really tasty.

Mang Inasal
A local Filipino grilled chicken chain that’s worth trying.
“Inasal” is a traditional grilled chicken dish originally from Bacolod, Philippines. The chicken is deeply marinated, flavorful, and surprisingly juicy instead of dry.
What makes it special is the distinct Filipino-style marinade, especially the use of annatto seed oil and fish sauce, which gives the chicken its signature color and savory taste.
It’s definitely one of the iconic comfort foods in the Philippines.
- Sisig
Sisig is a famous dish that originated from Pampanga, Philippines.
It’s a flavorful pork dish with a slightly sour and mildly spicy taste that goes incredibly well with rice.

One thing I find oddly cute about Filipino fast food is that their rice is often wrapped almost like a burger bun. Somehow it makes the whole meal feel even more comforting.
- Pork BBQ w/ YellowRice
The skewers are sooo good, and the sweet sauce pairs perfectly with the rice. When dining in, you also get a sour soup that helps cut through the richness.
- Halo Halo
Here Halo Halo is the best in all chain store.

Razon
This is a regional chain store, the price is higher, but I would take my friend to visit here.
- Beef Kare Kare
It’s incredibly delicious. I covered my mouth and shouted, “This is so good!” This is a Filipino dish, with a sauce based on peanut. The beef is tender, and the sauce is a perfect balance of salty and sweet. The rice was gone in no time.

- Palabok
This is a classic Filipino dish, known for its bright orange sauce. Key ingredients include shrimp paste (Annatto seeds or Achuete), crispy pork skin (chicharrón), fish sauce, and calamansi. The noodles are stir-fried, and the sauce has a rare savory flavor.
